Take 5

Employees can take up to five “on the clock” hours per month to volunteer (exempt employees only). All you need is your manager’s approval and to report your volunteer time. Simply go to Log Your Volunteer Hours to record the amount of time you’ve volunteered in your community.

Extended Hours Policy

On a case-by-case basis, (2) eight-hour days may be taken off per year for volunteer projects. Employees choosing to take advantage of this policy will use up to three months of their Take Five volunteer time (see above). Employees must have their managers’ approval. Exempt employees only.

Community Corps

Our annual Community Corps program takes Gap Inc. employees to locations around the world to build houses with Habitat for Humanity. Participants are selected based on their demonstrated volunteerism and impact in the community.

Applications for the 2012 trip are live through March 4. APPLY TODAY!
